Car crashes into tree in Muğla: 1 dead

The accident occurred in the Akyaka neighborhood of Ula district. The car, driven by Huesniye An Morkoyun, crashed into a tree after the driver lost control.

Health and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene after bystanders notified the 112 Emergency Call Center. The injured driver and Meryem Okuyucu, who was in the car, were taken to Muğla Training and Research Hospital by paramedics.

Despite doctors' best efforts, Meryem Okuyucu could not be saved. An investigation into the accident has been launched and is being conducted by the gendarmerie.
