Criminal complaint from Galatasaray to Mourinho: Racism
Galatasaray Club announced that it will file a criminal complaint against Fenerbahçe Coach Jose Mourinho.
In a statement made by the red-yellow club, it was stated that "Fenerbahçe Technical Director Jose Mourinho, who has regularly used derogatory words towards Turkish people since he started working in Turkey, has added inhumane statements to his immoral statements today. We would like to inform you that we will file a criminal complaint with the prosecutor's office and that we will also file a complaint with UEFA and FIFA due to these racist statements against Jose Mourinho. In addition to all these initiatives, we will follow the attitude of our "moral exemplar" rival's technical directors regarding this statement."

Fenerbahce Coach Jose Mourinho made the following statements at the press conference:
"I have to thank him for his performance. You would have killed me if he hadn't performed well. I know what happens when you put an 18-year-old player in a match like this. Yusuf is not perfect but he will be there. I can't compare him to Varane because Varane has won a lot. I played him in the Champions League at that age. I have to thank the referee because in that position I mentioned everyone on the other bench was jumping like monkeys. Yusuf is a top-level player. Montella has a lot of good players but I'm sure he's very happy with his performance."
"THEY HAVE TO PUNISH FOR RACISM"Speaking to Beyaz TV about the issue, Galatasaray Manager Abdullah Kavukcu said, "We will do everything necessary regarding Jose Mourinho. He has officially committed racism, he will explain whoever he calls a monkey. It's like this is a banana republic! He talks about everything, Acun comes out and defends him. He goes to the referee's room after the match and congratulates him! Before we do, the TFF should do what is necessary regarding racism! They do everything, then they get on top of it! What would they do if we did? If the TFF does something about this, they have to punish the guy for racism anyway."

Galatasaray General Secretary Eray Yazgan made the following statements on the subject:
"I am ashamed and saddened by these statements! The entire press, those who say that the Ottomans ruled the world for 600 years in Riva and TFF should and will vent their anger about this. I am very angry! He has been insulting the Turkish people and Turkey since the day he arrived. The punishment for racism is clear all over the world! We hope that UEFA and FIFA will give the necessary punishment! My request from you is to stand behind us to put this person in his place! Acun Ilıcalı should abandon this perception! He should respond to this insult, this racist statement that is currently being made against the Turkish people! We expect this reaction from the TFF, the Turkish judiciary, UEFA, FIFA and Fenerbahçe! We expect Galatasaray fans, Fenerbahçe fans, Beşiktaş fans... All those who feel Turkish to give this reaction together."
"IF HE WAS AT GALATASARAY, I WOULD WANT HIM TO RESIGN""You tied me up out of kindness, but I spoke my words as a Turkish son! If anyone from Galatasaray had done this in any way, I would have asked them to either apologize within 10 minutes or resign."
"I hope that Jose Mourinho will be given quick punishments by the TFF, the Turkish judiciary, UEFA, FIFA and Fenerbahçe! Then we will talk about other issues."

Fenerbahçe Vice President Acun Ilıcalı responded to the allegations regarding Mourinho as follows:
"A move we have been waiting for! The decision of Galatasaray management, which we have been following for years as Fenerbahçe, to change the agenda, probably stemming from a crisis meeting! When I got involved in this, I realized this, I cannot say it as much as it is said... Not everything was explained to me! They were going to apply to UEFA, how could you tell Turkish children... Our eyes filled with tears while listening to Eray Yazgan."
"WHEN DID YOU COME TO RACISM!""If you say monkey to a black person, it's racism. If you say it to white people, what kind of racism is this! What kind of racism is this! When I say 'don't jump like a squirrel, don't jump like a monkey', what kind of racism is this. When people are jumping for a yellow card, if this group is white... What Jose Mourinho said there is that people are jumping and reacting too much. This is not about the color of that club. He is not physically comparing those in that club to monkeys. You are jumping, monkeys jump in the forest... He says 'you are jumping for a yellow card'. If I say 'don't jump like a monkey', am I also a racist! We get that you played badly, we get that you criticized the referee! When did you become racist? Don't take anyone for fools!"
"IS OKAN TEACHER BLACK?""May God damn the racists. We are not a racist country anyway. Jose Mourinho also says 'He jumps like a monkey'. This is a metaphor, a description! What does racism have to do with it? Is Okan Hoca black, what's wrong with that?"
