From MHP to TÜSİAD: We will not allow it
MHP Deputy Chairman Semih Yalçın made the following assessment: "As MHP and the People's Alliance, we will not allow TÜSİAD to play memorandum and set the tone for politics."
In his written statement, Yalçın stated that they have been following with astonishment how a group, which he claims is led by the CHP, has been putting aside the current realities and current dynamics that prevail in Turkey and the world for a while now and working together to produce an artificial agenda.
Yalçın, who stated that this approach was a kind of "psychological violence" applied to the people, noted that the aim of this group was to popularize individual reactions and expand the crowd of the dissatisfied, rather than to produce solutions to the country's current problems and strengthen the culture of solidarity by reducing social tension.
Yalçın, who stated that the "pain of premature presidential candidacy" was another dimension of the sterility and impasse that the CHP had fallen into, also claimed that the CHP failed to grasp the importance of the "deadline call" of MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli.
Claiming that TÜSİAD is also trying to provide political capital and ammunition support to the CHP, Yalçın said that instead of launching new products and using the power of money, goods and capital for investment, employment and production, TÜSİAD has started to sell pessimism, hopelessness and hostility towards the government.
Stating that TÜSİAD does not represent all industrialists and the business world, Yalçın said, "TÜSİAD is the spokesperson of a handful of wealthy people, a small happy minority. It defends the rights of a privileged group, not the people. TÜSİAD is trying to be the leverage of foreign powers and global actors."
"WE WILL NOT STAND BY WHILE HE IS MANIPULATING PUBLIC OPINION"Yalçın, emphasizing that TÜSİAD's efforts to establish dominance over politics and to brew boza on the back of political parties and the government are in vain, shared the following views:
"TÜSİAD should stop poking its nose into political affairs instead of focusing on the issues of Turkish industry and the business world. We ask the TÜSİAD executives who are very interested in politics: Did you produce tanks, cannons, rifles for the security and well-being of Turkey? Did you make airplanes? Did you invest in artificial intelligence, nuclear energy, and space technologies and encourage the youth? What initiatives have you taken from your own perspective to ensure the welfare of the people and to minimize poverty? Apart from interfering in matters that are not your responsibility, what have you given to this state and this country? Have you given back to the people what you have taken from them, so that you constantly see yourself as having the right to establish tutelage over politics and the government?
We want it to be known that as the MHP and the People's Alliance, we will not allow TÜSİAD to play memorandum and set the tone for politics. We will not stand by and watch the CHP, which both talks about the law and competes with criminal organizations in violating the law, manipulate the public opinion. Furthermore, we do not approve of the omission of what is said and the attempt to turn constructive comments in politics into opportunities. We will frustrate the enthusiasm of those who strive to establish a new solution process under the name of peace and brotherhood and those who dream of democratic autonomy.
