Another success story for Turkish women in the sky has been added. Gökçe Kübra Yıldırım, who stepped into aviation by doing an internship at Turkish Airlines ( THY ) Teknik A.Ş, decided to make her sky dreams come true. After completing the necessary training, Yıldırım started working as a second pilot in THY's Airbus fleet and later decided to continue her career in Dubai.
A Turkish female pilot, who stepped into the aviation sector 12 years ago, has now become a pilot on an Airbus A380 type aircraft in Dubai's largest airline. Gökçe Kübra Yıldırım has started working as a captain pilot on the world's largest double-decker aircraft.

Sharing her feelings on her social media account, Turkish female pilot Gökçe Kübra Yıldırım said, “This journey that I started about 12 years ago has brought me to the point of captaincy today. Every step, every difficulty, every success has added a lot to me. This profession is not just a job, it has become a part of my life. I would like to thank everyone who supported me and always stood behind me and made it possible for me to be here today.”
