Public workers receive payment while waiting for contract

600 thousand public workers and their families are waiting for the government's offer on the Public Framework Protocol. The government's delay in the offer also leads to the negotiation table being set up late. While workers' eyes and ears were on the offer, the government brought the 'good news' of payment, not a Protocol , to public workers.

According to the decision published in the Official Gazette regarding the payment that the workers will already receive, the workers working in the state and affiliated institutions in 2025 will receive the first half of the additional payment on June 2 and the second half on December 17.

The first payment to be made before Eid al-Adha will be deposited into the accounts of the employees. According to the decision published in the Official Gazette with the approval of AKP President Tayyip Erdoğan, the payment payments will be deposited to the workers who fall within the scope of Law No. 6772.
