Reading of the Night of Berat Prayer
WHAT IS THE NIGHT OF BERAT PRAYER?
The prayer of the night of Berat is very important for Muslims. The prayers made on this night are very curious because they ask for forgiveness from Allah. Here is the prayer of Berat Kandili;
Bismillahirrahmanirrahim.
“O Allah, O the One Who created us and caused us to lose our minds, O my Lord! O the Glorious and the Honorable. O the Majestic and the Independent. There is no god but God. There is no god but God. O God, save us from all evil and the needy, and the humble. O Allah, in the creation of a book of mischief, deprivation, marriage and servitude, and whoever is deprived of His sustenance. For Allah is the bestower of His grace on us through the lawful and the merciful, and the just and the just. And in the knowledge of the book of misery and suffering, from the loss of your life and from the loss of your good deeds. O Allah, in the creation of a book of misery and suffering, and the just and the just. "Let us not forget that you are among the honorable people of the world. And make Your commands absolute, the Judge. And grant us the blessings of Allah upon our master Muhammad, and upon his family, and upon his companions, and upon his children, and upon his wives, and upon his peace and blessings be upon them."

Turkish Meaning:
Oh Allah, who has given countless favors and grants to Your servants and who has no need for anything in return! My Lord, the Possessor of Majesty and Generosity! You are the One Who grants us, your helpless servants, endless blessings and opportunities! There is no god but You! You help those who seek refuge in You! You are the only source of refuge for the fearful!
Oh my Lord, if You have written me in Your book, in the Preserved Tablet, as an evil, deprived, expelled from Divine mercy, and poor person, then by Your grace, erase this evil fate of mine; my destiny as a rebel, deprived, expelled from Divine presence, and a poor person condemned to live in hardship. Oh my God, write me in Your main book as one of Your good, righteous servants, abundant in sustenance, rich, and those who compete in good deeds and are successful.
O Allah! -Your word is true- You have declared in Your Holy Book, which You sent on the tongue of the Glorious Prophet: "Allah erases what He wills and establishes what He wills. The original of all the books is with Him." (Surat ar-Ra'd, 39)
O Allah! We ask You, on the 14th night of the blessed month of Shaban, with Your greatest manifestation, in which You declared, “Every wise matter is separated by a command from Us” (Dukhan, 4); to remove from us all calamities and afflictions, those we know and those we do not know, and those You know. Surely You are the Possessor of infinite power and might! You are our Lord, the Most Gracious and Beneficent!
