Special clip from the Ministry of National Defense for Victory Day

The Ministry of National Defense shared the following message on its social media account: “The Turkish nation, kneaded with glory for centuries, won a great victory on this blessed day that has written its name in history in golden letters. Happy August 30th Victory Day and Turkish Armed Forces Day. Our Turkish Armed Forces, the heroic army of our deep-rooted history, continues its duty with determination and resolve for the independence of our homeland and the peace and security of our nation, growing stronger today as it did yesterday. We commemorate our Commander-in-Chief Ghazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, our heroes of the War of Independence, our martyrs, and our veterans who have passed away with mercy, gratitude, and respect; we wish our living veterans a healthy, happy, and long life.” The clip in the post featured footage of domestic weapon systems and military vehicles, as well as Mehmetçik (Turkish soldiers) exercises.
