Stove gas poisoning in Van: 1 dead, 3 injured

Onur Tunalı, Furkan Öztürk, Ferdi Koyupınar and Ensar Güntin, who live in a house in the Şerefiye Neighborhood of the district, were affected by the smoke leaking from the stove.

Upon notification by neighbors, 112 Emergency Health, police and fire teams were dispatched to the scene.

Teams that went to the address took 4 people, who were determined to have been poisoned by carbon monoxide leaking from the stove, to Van Regional Training and Research Hospital.

Of the four people who were taken into treatment, Güntin, whose condition was serious, could not be saved despite the intervention at a private hospital to which he was referred.

Tunalı, Öztürk and Koyupınar were discharged after their treatment.
