Temir Dükancı, one of the perpetrators of the terror attack in Reyhanlı, was arrested

Dükancı, who connected to the Ankara 9th High Criminal Court, where the case regarding the terror attack in Reyhanlı is being heard, via the Audio and Visual Information System (SEGBİS) from Hatay, claimed that he was not in Turkey during the terror attack and that he had nothing to do with the remote detonation of the bomb vehicle.

Dükancı said, "My involvement in the Reyhanlı explosion was to place the bomb in the car upon M.G.'s instructions. He told me that the police and prosecutor were following this incident. When he said this, I saw no harm in placing the bomb."

Dükancı, who claimed that he had no contact with Mihraç Ural, claimed that MG sent packages to Ural and that he was seen with him several times.

Following his defense, Temir Dükancı was arrested on charges of "disrupting the unity of the state and territorial integrity" and "qualified premeditated murder."

He was caught in an MİT operation

MİT had determined that Dükancı, who helped bring the explosives used in the terrorist attack to Turkey by sea and provided the vehicles to transport the explosives, was in Syria.

It was determined that Dükancı, who was determined to be preparing to escape to Lebanon, was planning to carry out an attack against Turkey's representatives abroad with the members of the organization he would gather there and was looking for a fake passport for this purpose.

Dükancı, who was in the orange category of the Wanted Terrorists List, was captured in an operation conducted by MİT on the Syria-Lebanon border and brought to Turkey and handed over to the Hatay Provincial Police Department.
