The mystery of the bones in Bornova will be solved by forensic medicine

An investigation was launched into the incident after human bones were found in an abandoned building in the Bornova district of Izmir. The bones were sent to the Istanbul Forensic Medicine Institute for detailed analysis.
POLICE TEAMS WERE DISPATCHED UPON A REPORT
The incident occurred in an abandoned building on 71st Street in Erzene Neighborhood. Police and crime scene investigation teams were dispatched to the area after receiving a tip that there were human bones in the building. The bones found as a result of the teams' work were delivered to the Istanbul Forensic Medicine Institute for examination.
JUDICIAL PROCESS HAS BEGUN
While the research on the source of the bones continues, the statement given by Ü.CK, one of the partners of the building, drew attention. Ü.CK stated that his older brother UCK, who died in 2024, was an orthopedic doctor and said that he remembered that the bones in question were used for anatomy class studies.
