The sad news came 9 days later

The accident took place on the Mescitli-Bademli Highway in Ödemiş at around 08:00 on Wednesday, August 6, 2025. Allegedly, the car with the registration number 35 ZJB 45, driven by Hanife Soylu, collided with the truck with the registration number 35 ZCJ 56, driven by FS (40), coming from the opposite direction.

TAKEN TO HOSPITAL Upon notification from bystanders, health and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene. Following first aid at Ödemiş State Hospital, Soylu, whose life was in critical condition, was taken to İzmir Atatürk Training and Research Hospital.

SAD NEWS AFTER 9 DAYS Soylu, who was treated in intensive care, lost his fight for life nine days later. Truck driver FS, who was detained in connection with the accident, was released on probation by the court.
