The second Sergen Yalçın era at Beşiktaş

Beşiktaş, having failed to make the desired start to the new season and been eliminated from European competitions, has undergone a managerial change. Beşiktaş, who were eliminated from European competitions by the Swiss side Lausanne in the UEFA Conference League play-off round, recently parted ways with Norwegian manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. The club has also announced a new senior football manager. In a statement, the club announced that Sergen Yalçın has signed a contract until the end of the 2026-2027 season.

During his previous tenure at the helm, Yalçın played 79 matches with a record of 45 wins, 10 draws, and 24 losses. The 52-year-old manager also won one Süper Lig and one Turkish Cup with the club.
