Özdemir, who stated that there are social facilities on the beach and that they are working to increase these facilities, said, "We have Geyikkoşan Teachers' House on the beach, next to it is the restaurant of the teacher's house. There are workplaces belonging to our municipality behind it. There are mansions belonging to Alaçam Municipality, citizens can come and stay here with their families. Geyikkoşan beach is not just for the sake of it, it is a place where blue and green meet. We have a picnic area with pine trees right next to the sea. You can reach Kızlan Yaylası in a short distance of about 15 minutes. In the geography of Geyikkoşan, where the sea and green are intertwined, you find yourself on the beach like in Antalya."

Özdemir, who stated that they carried out beach cleaning with the support of the Metropolitan Municipality, said, "We are expecting all our fellow citizens to this region. It is a region that is suitable for discovery with its greenery, sand and sea. Hopefully, our projects will continue here in the future so that people can enter the sea more safely. We have a blue flag project."
Özdemir, who stated that they are also working to meet the need for accommodation, said, "We are trying to create a hotel construction area where people can stay more comfortably in the region with the initiatives of the municipality and private stakeholders. Our work in this context continues. Hopefully, in the future, we aim to bring a facility under the control of the municipality in the Geyikkoşan region where people can stay comfortably."
Emphasizing that the tourism potential in Alaçam is high, Özdemir noted:
"Our district has not been discovered before but it is a district that has high potential and can explode sea tourism at any moment. Sea tourism is seriously open to discovery here. After getting out of the sea, our citizens can enjoy themselves by lighting their barbecue under the pine trees. It is our only beach where the sea and the pine trees meet. There is no other beach like it anywhere along the coast. That is why it is very open to discovery. Our lifeguards have also started their duties here. People can swim in a certain part of the 18 kilometers. We have lifeguard towers. We have sea, sand, greenery and a 48 thousand square meter recreation area."
