Festival winds will blow in Freedom Park

Organized with the support of Istanbul Kadıköy Municipality, Özgürlük Park Art Days begins on July 7.

As part of the two-month long events, theater plays, concerts and shows will meet Istanbulites under the stars.

The events, which will start with the Kardeş Türküler concert on July 7, will continue every evening until September 7 at the Göztepe Özgürlük Park Open Air Stage.

A total of 63 theater plays, concerts and stage shows will meet art lovers within the scope of the festival.

The events include reruns of popular theater plays staged throughout the season, as well as various musical performances. The shows, which will start at 9:00 p.m. each evening, will transform Özgürlük Park into one of Istanbul's cultural and artistic centers throughout the summer. The festival will open at 9:00 p.m. on Monday, July 7, with songs of peace and solidarity by Kardeş Türküler, known for their works reflecting the multicultural structure of Anatolia.
