The first photo of the new Harry Potter has been shared

The first photo of the lead character in the Harry Potter series, which has been adapted into a television series and is currently in production, has been released. Eleven-year-old Scottish actor Dominic McLaughlin makes his first appearance in a Potter costume.

Other main characters in the series will be Hermione Granger, played by Arabella Stanton, and Ron Weasley, played by Alastair Stout.

According to the news in BBC Turkish, the production, which will be distributed as a series worldwide by the US broadcasting giant HBO , is expected to conclude within 10 years.

HBO also announced in February that American actor John Lithgow would play Hogwarts headmaster Albus Dumbledore.

Frost will play Rubeus Hagrid, McTeer will play Professor Minerva McGonagall, and Essiedu will play Severus Snape, while Whitehouse will play Argus Filch.

The series will be completed at Warner Bros Studios in Hertfordshire, where all eight Harry Potter films were shot. Production is planned to take 10 years.
