At the event held at the Hamamizade İhsan Bey Cultural Center, traditional instruments nefir and çiğmon were introduced and the production stages were explained to the participants.

Emrah Kaya, a cement production artist at the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, told an AA correspondent that traditional instruments attract the attention of citizens.

Pointing out the place of cement in Black Sea culture, Kaya made the following assessment:

"The Çimon is an instrument that was played in the region of Trabzon close to Rize before the tulum. Its body is made of reed and its tip is made of cattle horn. This instrument has five holes, but sometimes a sixth hole can be drilled. It can produce the sounds of the Rast makam in Turkish music. It can be played like the tulum."

Kaya stated that the nefir can be made from the horn of a wild goat or a bull, adding, "This traditional instrument can also be made into a long tube by wrapping tree bark. After it is made into a tube, a piece called a zipçık, taken from a tree, is attached to its end. This instrument is also played with the help of a sipsi."
