CMB approves capital increases for 6 companies

According to the CMB weekly bulletin, the Board approved the application for a paid capital increase of 85 million 611 thousand 78 liras by Kron Teknoloji AŞ and 65 million liras by ATP Girişim Sermayesi Yatırım Ortaklığı AŞ, while it approved the request for a free capital increase of 500 million liras by Kuzey Boru AŞ, 466 million liras by Pasifik Teknoloji AŞ, 400 million liras by Katılımevim Savings Finance AŞ from internal resources and 1 billion 490 million liras from dividends, and 5 billion liras from Türkiye Sigorta AŞ from dividends.

The Board allowed Ulusal Factoring Inc. to issue debt instruments worth 400 million Turkish Lira, Doğru Varlık Yönetim Inc. to issue debt instruments worth 300 million Turkish Lira, Marbaş Menkul Değerler Inc. to issue debt instruments worth 846 million Turkish Lira, Çağdaş Factoring Inc. to issue debt instruments worth 2 billion 766 million 250 thousand Turkish Lira, Vestel Beyaz Eşya Sanayi ve Ticaret Inc. to issue debt instruments worth 5 billion Turkish Lira, Bulls Yatırım Menkul Değerler Inc. to issue debt instruments worth 3 billion 950 million Turkish Lira, Carrefoursa Carrefour Sabancı Ticaret Merkezi Inc. to issue debt instruments worth 10 billion Turkish Lira, Opet Petrolcülük Inc. to issue debt instruments worth 6 billion Turkish Lira, Burgan Bank Inc. to issue debt instruments worth 5 billion Turkish Lira, Midas Menkul Değerler Inc. to issue debt instruments worth 1 billion 250 thousand Turkish Lira, Türkiye İş Bankası Inc. to issue debt instruments worth 500 thousand Euros, while it allowed QNB Varlık Kiralama Inc. to issue debt instruments worth 10 billion Turkish Lira and Katılım Varlık Kiralama Inc. to issue debt instruments worth 3 billion 950 million Turkish Lira. It authorized the Management Agreement-Based Lease Certificate worth 5 billion lira.

The CMB has responded positively to the request to grant permission for the establishment of the Anadolu Tarım Venture Capital Investment Fund of Atlas Portfolio Management Inc., the Ninth Venture Capital Investment Fund of Pardus Portfolio Management Inc., and the PIN Beverage and Food Technologies Venture Capital Investment Fund of Rota Portfolio Management Inc.

On the other hand, the Capital Markets Board extended the measures and practices regarding the prohibition of short selling transactions in Borsa İstanbul AŞ equity markets, the facilitation of share buybacks of publicly held partnerships, and the flexible implementation of equity ratios during the continuation of credit capital market transactions until the end of the July 4 session.

Administrative fines and criminal complaints

The Board decided to impose an administrative fine of 1 million 663 thousand 944.89 liras on a company due to the fact that the price determination report prepared for the purpose of determining the public offering share value contained elements contrary to the relevant legislation, and a total of 14 million 673 thousand 474.79 liras on 5 people as a result of the investigation conducted regarding the transactions carried out in the Seyitler Kimya Sanayi AŞ (SEYKM) share market.

The CMB also decided to file a criminal complaint against 2 content providers and 10 individuals due to various violations, while Beşiktaş Futbol Yatırımları Sanayi ve Ticaret AŞ (BJKAS) imposed a 2-year trading ban on 3 individuals due to transactions carried out in the stock market.

Decision to block access to 36 websites

The Board decided to take the necessary legal action to block access to 36 websites that were found to be providing unauthorized crypto asset services to people resident in Türkiye via the internet and to have leveraged transactions abroad.

The CMB also decided to take the necessary legal action to block access to social media accounts and applications for 5 websites.
