Minister Uraloğlu: We broke our air traffic record with 6,110 flights.

In a written statement, Minister Uraloğlu evaluated data from the European Organization for the Safety of Air Navigation (EUROCONTROL). Uraloğlu stated, "On July 13th, we reached an all-time high of daily transit flights in Turkish airspace with 1,745. By providing safe and efficient service to these flights, we surpassed the previous record of 1,729 flights set on April 27, 2025."
Minister Uraloğlu stated that the State Airports Authority Air Traffic Control Center continues to provide uninterrupted, safe, and high-standard air traffic service to flights during these days when traffic density has reached record levels. He said, "We achieved another historic success with 6,110 flight traffic on July 12, 2025. With this figure, we also broke our previous record of 5,943 total aircraft traffic, set on June 15, 2024. This data has once again concretely demonstrated that Turkish airspace serves as a vital air corridor between Europe and the Gulf and Asian countries, and has reached a central position in regional air traffic."
