Nazan Oncel was taken to hospital

Songwriter, composer, performer and singer Nazan Öncel was hospitalized once again.

The following statements were made in a post shared on Oncel's social media account through his press advisor Yağız Yılmaz:

"Our artist, who underwent balloon angiography and had two stents inserted in May, was rushed to the emergency room again at 04:30 this morning. His high pulse and high blood pressure were brought under control with another stent, and efforts are being made to stabilize our artist's condition.

"What more can I do for this heart? I did everything he wanted; he said to walk, I walked; he said to diet, I did; he said to drink plenty of water, I did; he said stent, I said, 'Okay!'; if it doesn't work, it doesn't work, so go ahead and pray.' It's not yet clear when Öncel will be discharged."
