The organs of a brain-dead woman brought hope to three people.

According to a statement from Uşak Training and Research Hospital, the relatives of the woman who suffered brain death while being treated at the hospital agreed to have her organs donated.

The patient's liver will be transplanted to a patient in Izmir, and his kidneys will be transplanted to patients in Izmir and Muğla.

Deputy Chief Physician Op. Dr. Murat Yanar, whose views were included in the statement, stated that organ donation is one of the most meaningful ways to save lives.

Yanar, noting that the donated organs will open a new life for three patients, said, "This act has helped raise public awareness and set an example. I invite our citizens to be sensitive about organ donation."
