The process for a new 300-bed hospital has begun in Antalya.

AK Party Antalya Provincial Chairman Ali Çetin visited MÜSİAD Antalya President Yusuf Akgül and his administration. During the visit, important statements were made regarding the Atatürk State Hospital, which has been a topic of discussion in the city for some time. Akgül emphasized that Antalya's economy and city dynamics are strengthening daily and stated that MÜSİAD continues to work in collaboration with all the city's stakeholders. Akgül said, "We strive to contribute to the development of not only the business world but also all segments of society. Healthcare investments are also very important in this regard. Healthy individuals mean a strong economy."
The process has begun on the new 300-bed hospital project.Çetin stated that the construction contract for the 300-bed hospital had been approved by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and that the Ministry of Health had put out a tender for the architectural drawings, which had been completed. Noting that the architectural firm was currently preparing the project drawings, Çetin said, "Once the drawing process is complete, the hospital construction tender will be held. A modern healthcare complex worthy of Antalya will be built." Çetin also emphasized that claims that office buildings or residences would be built in the area were completely unfounded, saying, "Such smear campaigns are malicious. While it's clear that this area will be used productively for healthcare investments, statements attempting to mislead the public for other purposes are false."
AK Party Antalya Provincial Chairman Ali Çetin stated that the demolition of the hospital building is inevitable, saying, "We cannot endanger anyone's life. The building has reports of deterioration. It is no longer possible for it to continue providing service." Çetin stated that the necessary plans have been made to prevent inconvenience to healthcare workers and citizens. He explained that personnel working at Atatürk State Hospital will be assigned to Aksu, the City Hospital, and the Training and Research Hospitals. He also stated that the hospital currently under construction in Aksu will be completed within four to five months.
