Garbage piles formed in Beşiktaş! District residents shared on social media

Workers who went to their places of duty in Beşiktaş yesterday put on their work clothes but did not start work. Stating that their wages have been paid incompletely and late for 4 months, the workers reacted by saying, "Our friends are drowning in debt, there are workers who have fallen into the hands of loan sharks. We do not work incompletely, we do not come to work late. We also want our wages to be paid in full and on time." Some workers used the phrases, "I could not take bread home, I bought bread on a hanger from the bakery for the first time in my life" on social media because of these events.

THEY LEFT THEIR JOB INDEMNITELY

In the message sent to the workers from the union; Salary payments have not been made. We have decided to go on indefinite work stoppage as of Monday until all salaries are paid in full. The units that will go on work stoppage were specified with the note "Istanbul European 1st Branch Management and Representatives". Accordingly, the Cleaning Services Directorate, Technical Services garages and units, Parks and Gardens, Veterinary Main Service Building were specified. Healthcare workers, security and other units will continue their daily work flow" was shared.

GARBAGE HEAPS IN ORTAKÖY

Yesterday morning, the staff who went to work went on strike. Since the workers were on strike, the garbage was not collected. Garbage piles formed in Ortaköy, the most important point of the district. The residents of the neighborhood are worried that if this continues for a few days, the disease will spread.
