The series, which was taken off the air as a result of the lawsuit filed by the grandchildren of Cevat Şakir Kabaağaçlı, is preparing to meet its audience again with the agreement reached between the parties.

Broadcasting was stopped by court order

Six of the eight grandchildren of the famous literary figure Cevat Şakir Kabaağaçlı (Halikarnas Balıkçısı) filed a lawsuit against the production company on the grounds that the series violated the privacy of their family members. As a result of the court's injunction, the series was removed from the broadcast schedule and even completely removed from official platforms. All episodes were deleted from the official YouTube account, and all content of the series was removed from Now TV's (formerly Fox TV) website.

Family and Production Company Reach Agreement

According to the news by journalist Birsen Altuntaş, as a result of the talks between the production team of the series and the family members and lawyers Aydın Kurban, the parties reached an agreement. The family members who filed the lawsuit withdrew their complaints with a waiver petition they submitted to the court, and the court's decision to ban the series from being broadcast was automatically lifted.
