He has been planting saplings in every empty space he finds for 25 years: People pray to me

When Tutuş started high school, he started planting saplings he obtained from the District Forestry Directorate and municipalities in the empty areas he found.
Harun Tutuş, who has planted hundreds of saplings in 25 years, said, “I plant saplings continuously. I plant saplings regularly every year. Since there were no trees in the garden of the middle school I went to, even at that age, wherever I saw a sapling, I would bring it and plant it in the school garden.”

Tutuş stated that he felt great happiness when he saw the saplings he planted growing and creating shade, and people resting in those shadows, and continued his words as follows:
"When I pass by the schools where I plant saplings from time to time, I am very happy to see people resting under those growing trees. I plant hundreds of saplings every year. Although our garden was concrete, I brought in trucks of soil and poured it, then greened it. I made it so beautiful that when people saw it later, they couldn't even believe it existed."

"Even though it's not where I live, I plant trees here too. I've been doing this for years to protect the integrity of nature and the ecological balance. I do this to leave beautiful things for future generations. People pray to me."
