Umut Akyürek's daughter started using drugs again

Umut Akyürek got married to Oktay Ertuğrul in 2004 and gave birth to her daughter Melek Bal in 2005.

Last year, Umut Akyürek published a video on his Instagram account, saying that his daughter Melek Bal was a drug addict and asking for help:

"He uses drugs, and very unconsciously. Of course, not consciously, but almost to death. Uncontrollably, and because he can't control himself due to his psychiatric illness, it has reached terrible proportions. I've locked myself in my room right now, he hasn't been there for two days. He's having a huge crisis again."

Melek Bal, who was later hospitalized, completed her treatment and returned home. However, the couple's daughter started using drugs again and left home.

When Melek Bal said on social media the other day that she had been on the street for a few days, spending time in cafes and on buses, her followers asked her to return home. When she returned home, she caused a scene because she could not find her room as she left it.

Father Oktay Ertuğrul said, "The police and ambulance we called to the house could not do anything, they gave advice and returned from the door. They said we had to apply to the court."
