639,000 people visited Anıtkabir on August 30

Anıtkabir was opened to visitors following the official ceremonies held in the morning on the 103rd anniversary of the August 30th Victory. With the opening, thousands of people appeared before Atatürk with Atatürk posters and Turkish flags. Citizens laid carnations at Atatürk's mausoleum and observed a moment of silence. Anıtkabir remained open to visitors until 22:00. Due to August 30th Victory Day, 639,497 people visited Anıtkabir from the end of the official opening ceremony until 22:00. On the other hand, according to the information on the official website of Anıtkabir Command; This year, Anıtkabir was visited by 307,830 people in January, 218,495 in February, 220,139 in March, 622,306 in April, 858,864 in May, 366,829 in June, 419,775 in July and 1,049,588 in August. Having hosted a total of 4,063,826 local and foreign visitors in the first 8 months of 2025, Anıtkabir was visited by 6,550,480 people in 2024, 6,030,680 in 2023 and 3,966,286 people in 2022.
MOST VISITED IN AUGUSTAnıtkabir saw its highest number of visitors in August in the first eight months of 2025. Including Victory Day on August 30th, 1,049,588 local and foreign visitors visited Anıtkabir in August.
