Speaking about Aziz İhsan Aktaş's allegations, Özel said:

"This man (Aziz İhsan Aktaş) gets transportation tenders. 4-5 companies enter into jobs of this size. One comes and withdraws from there. He comes and the others withdraw from there. They don't step on each other's toes. He generally came to CHP municipalities after working with AK Party members. He worked with Turkish Airlines and the Court of Accounts."
