Another investigation into Özgür Özel...

In a statement, the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office stated that Özel "openly disseminated untrue information in a manner conducive to disrupting public peace" regarding an investigation conducted by the Manavgat Chief Public Prosecutor's Office at an open-air meeting held by his party in Antalya today.

The statement included information that the statements in question were evaluated within the scope of Article 217/A of the Turkish Penal Code and that an ex officio investigation was launched against Özgür Özel for this reason.
