Early intervention from Bayraktar TB2

Minister Yumaklı provided information on firefighting efforts in a statement on social media. He explained that the fire, which was about to break out due to burning waste during garden cleaning, was detected by the Bayraktar TB2 UAV. He added that the rapid and effective intervention of ground crews extinguished the flames before they reached the forested area.
Yumaklı shared the following statement in his post: "A fire that was about to break out as a result of burning waste during a garden cleanup in the Marmaris district of Muğla was detected by Yeşil Vatan's spotters, the Bayraktar TB2 UAV. With the rapid and effective intervention of our ground teams, the fire was extinguished before it could spread to the forested area."
Yumaklı also announced that legal action has been initiated against the individual believed to have started the fire and provided information about the technological infrastructure used in firefighting. He noted that 14 UAVs and 776 watchtowers across Turkey detect fires within an average of two minutes, emphasizing that they respond early to dozens of fires every day.
"We are on the ground with our air and ground forces, and we are on full alert until October 15th. We all have a role to play in defending this homeland. With temperatures rising these days, let's be more careful for our Green Homeland and avoid lighting fires outside," Yumaklı wrote in his post, which also included footage showing how the fire was detected by a UAV.
