TCG Anadolu set sail from Sarayburnu for the 'Blue Homeland Bosphorus Passage'

The TCG Anadolu will transit the Bosphorus with eight ships, including the TCG Savarona, Turkish Navy ships, the TCG Hızır Reis submarine, and a submarine. The program will conclude with a 21-gun salute and a chimariva salute for President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan at Dolmabahçe Palace.
TCG Anadolu departed Sarayburnu at 6:30 a.m. for the "Blue Homeland" Bosphorus Passage. The passage, which begins at 3:30 p.m., will connect with TCG Anadolu, TCG Savarona, TCG Oruçreis, TCG İstanbul, TCG Heybeliada, TCG Kalkan, TCG Alanya, TCG Sancaktar, and the TCG Hızır Reis submarine off the Black Sea. The morning cruise will begin with the ships arriving in the Black Sea and departing south from the Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge at 3:30 p.m.
It is anticipated that the ships will pass through Sarıyer Central Coast and Tarabya at 16:00, the Emirgan region at 16:10, Kanlıca at 16:15, Rumelihisarı at 16:30, the Kandilli-Baby line at 16:40, Ortaköy and the July 15 Martyrs Bridge at 16:50, and will be visible from Beşiktaş, Üsküdar, Dolmabahçe and Sarayburnu beaches as of 16:50.
21-GUN SHOT AND CHIMAVIRA SALUTEBetween 5:00 PM and 5:30 PM, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will be saluted at Dolmabahçe Palace with a 21-gun salute and a "chimariva" salute, performed by crew members standing side by side along the ship. During the Blue Homeland Bosphorus Passage, the TCG Anadolu and TCG Savarona will host young TEKNOFEST competitors, children of martyrs, and children in foster homes. During the voyage, children on board will release red and white balloons into the sky. The Blue Homeland Bosphorus Passage is expected to conclude at Maltepe Beach after Moda and Caddebostan.
