Airpods Pro 3 announced! Here are all the features

AirPods Pro 3 features what Apple claims is its best-ever Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) technology. New foam-backed ear tips better seal the ear canal, providing twice the noise cancellation of the previous generation. The soundstage is also expanded, enhancing the music and content experience.

LIVE TRANSLATION FEATURE

One of the series' most notable innovations is undoubtedly the live translation feature. During conversations, ANC not only reduces ambient noise but also instantly translates what's being said into the user's native language and transmits it to the headphones. This will make the AirPods Pro 3 a true "real-time translator," especially for travel and multilingual environments. Responses are automatically reflected on the iPhone screen. It's also been announced that instant translation will be available if both speakers are wearing headphones.

Apple redesigned the AirPods Pro 3 by performing more than 10,000 3D ear scans. The earbuds are now smaller and come with five different eartip options. They're also IP57 certified, making them more resistant to sweat and water.

Along with the AirPods Pro 3, Apple is bringing new functionality to the entire AirPods family with the iOS 26 update, which will be released this fall. AirPods can now be used as a remote shutter release for the iPhone camera app. AirPods 4 and AirPods Pro 2 will also gain studio-quality audio support. Additionally, features like improved call quality, charging reminders, and automatic audio pausing when the user falls asleep are also coming.

The headphones offer four times better active noise cancellation than the previous model, and the battery has also been improved. Battery life has been increased from 6 hours of ANC listening time in the previous model to 8 hours. Under normal use, this time has been increased from 6 hours to 10 hours.

Apple last updated its AirPods Pro lineup three years ago. In 2023, the AirPods Pro 2 received a minor update, adding a USB-C charging case and dust resistance. The AirPods Pro 3, meanwhile, appears poised to feature live translation, in addition to design, hardware, and software improvements.
