Google has opened up its Gemini Code Assist system to everyone

Google continues to work to bring its AI-powered services to more users. With the new announcement, Gemini Code Assist is now available to everyone for free.

According to the statement:

“With the new, free version of Gemini Code Assist available in Visual Studio Code and JetBrains IDEs, individual developers will now have access to all the code completion, creation, and chat features we’ve been bringing to businesses for over a year.”

The system, which helps with coding processes, also offers time-saving suggestions.

Gemini had previously gained file analysis features.
