A woman was attacked in Istanbul because of her attire

In Istanbul's Bahçelievler district, a woman walking along the street was allegedly harassed by another woman who said, "Don't walk around naked like that, we have children." A verbal argument between the two women quickly escalated into a fight. The young woman was verbally abused and attacked. Bystanders intervened to calm the two parties down.

The incident was captured on a bystander's cell phone camera. The footage shows the woman reportedly being attacked screaming for help, "Call the police."

The fight ended with intense efforts from bystanders. The incident quickly became a trending topic on social media, and the efforts of citizens to calm the two parties were captured on camera.
