Fenerbahce is in the final stages of the Asensio transfer

Fenerbahçe has reached the final stage of the transfer of Marco Asensio , whose contract with PSG expires next season.

Yağız Sabuncuoğlu wrote that Asensio accepted Fenerbahçe's latest offer and that the yellow-dark blue club also reached an agreement with PSG.

Sabuncuoğlu, stating that the transfer is nearing completion, wrote that the 29-year-old Spanish player was invited to Istanbul to undergo a medical check and sign the contract.

It has been claimed that Fenerbahçe is willing to pay a total of 20 million euros for PSG and Asensio for one year.

Asensio, who transferred from Espanyol to Real Madrid in 2016, was released after 7 seasons at the club and signed for PSG in the summer of 2023.

Asensio was loaned to Aston Villa during the winter break last year.

Asensio scored 2 goals and 4 assists in 12 matches with PSG last season, and scored 6 goals and 1 assist in 21 matches with Aston Villa.
