UEFA measures for Beşiktaş's Orkun Kökçü, who received a penalty: President Adalı personally requested it

Beşiktaş President Serdal Adalı reportedly made a critical move to avoid being caught in the UEFA Financial Fair Play (FFP) threat regarding the transfer of Orkun Kökçü. With this in mind, Adalı persuaded Benfica to accept a conditional buyout clause for Kökçü's transfer. Portuguese media reported that an agreement had been reached with Benfica for a €25 million conditional buyout option and a €5 million guaranteed bonus. Beşiktaş had recently received a €900,000 FFP fine from UEFA for violating FFP regulations during Hasan Arat's presidency.
"THE END OF PATIENCE IS SAFETY"
In a previous statement, Adalı said, "Nothing is finalized yet. There hasn't been a decision made to hold a signing ceremony on Friday or Saturday. Patience is the best course of action. It won't be finalized before Friday."The 24-year-old footballer, who played 55 matches for Benfica this season, recorded 12 goals and 11 assists.
