Spider-Man: Brand New Day

In conversation with ET (via Variety), Andrew Garfield said the next Spider-Man movie would have to be “very weird” before he’d think about reprising his role once again.

It would have to be very weird. I would like to do something very strange. Something very unique, and offbeat and surprising, kind of like the creative freedom they have with the animated Spider-Verse movies.

The Mandalorian & Grogu

Jon Favreau discussed the inclusion of Rotta the Hutt in The Mandalorian & Grogu during a recent interview with Screen Rant.

We definitely drew inspiration from the Expanded Universe, and the Hutts are just an interesting group. They were explored slightly through Jabba and what we saw when we were growing up. But then with Filoni, [and] with animation, they really delved into it. And then, of course, [there are] all the accompanying materials, like the comics [with characters like] Grakkus–one of the Hutts that was really strong. So there’s all different types … there’s a lot of imagery that’s been explored. Now, with technology, it’s fun to explore what you can do with species that you could never show. Look how difficult it was in the original trilogy with how many puppeteers it took. Then, they started exploring CG with the Special Edition, and later on we did The Book of Boba Fett, with the twins. I think it’s a lot of fun. Plus for the big screen, you don’t have anything bigger than a Hutt.

Thunderbolts*

Speaking with SFX Magazine (via CinemaBlend), Thunderbolts* director Jake Schrier teased Sentry’s introduction to the MCU will have “an impact” on Avengers: Doomsday.

There might be some stones, or pebbles [smiles]. I don’t know how you want to rate your rocks. Look, you know the character that we’re talking about, and you know that there’s a level of power involved there that could have an impact going forward. I’m not making Doomsday so I’m not privy to that.
