Major update on Prince William and Princess Kate's living arrangements when he's King

Prince William and Princess Kate’s upcoming move to Forest Lodge in Windsor was announced on Friday, causing much excitement among royal fans. The Prince and Princess of Wales, along with their children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, will move to the eight-bed home by the end of the year, marking a new start for the family.
While some may wonder how long the family will live at the home for, especially as Prince William is one day set to become King, a source has claimed that William, 44, wants to continue living at the home even when he takes to the throne. Royal expert and royal editor for The Daily Mail, Rebecca English, wrote: “The Daily Mail has been told that it is William's 'intention' to remain in their new Grade II-listed property even after he accedes to the throne.
“'This is for the long term and it's their intention to stay in Forest Lodge once he becomes king," a source said.
The Daily Mail also reports that the first-in-line to the throne will be taking an “even more 'pragmatic' approach to Buckingham Palace in the future”.
It is believed that while he may work from Buckingham Palace, on occasion, when he wears the Crown, he will not relocate there like most monarchs in the past.
Instead, he wants to stay at Forest Lodge in Windsor, which should give him privacy and a more ordinary way of life, something he seems to be keen on.
Rebecca English wrote in The Daily Mail: “To all intents and purposes, then, he will be the first monarch since medieval times not to live in a castle or a palace.”
While King Charles does not live in Buckingham Palace, it is believed he will move to the enormous home when renovations are complete.
Since becoming King, and long before, Charles and Camilla have spent most of their time living at Clarence House, just a few minutes away from Buckingham Palace.
It is not believed William will ever relocate back to London full-time.
