Meghan Markle teases 'special' surprise as Duchess makes major podcast announcement

Meghan Markle has made a major announcement regarding her podcast, which released its final episode this week. The Duchess of Sussex took to her official Instagram account to announce to her fans that the first season of her podcast series has not wrapped up just yet and that there will be a bonus episode next week featuring a very special guest.

Meghan shared Lemonada Media's post on her story with the message: "Surprise! Bonus episode drops Tuesday [sparkle emoji]". The podcast distributor's post included a short promo with Meghan's voice, who said: "Next week, we've got one more very special interview for you. A bonus episode. Because when a matriarch calls, and when this matriarch calls, oh, you answer."

While the identity of the special guest has been kept a secret, many fans rushed to the comment section to cheerfully identify the woman.

The surprise guest appeared to be, according to the fans, no other than Tina Knowles, Beyoncé's mother.

Lemonada said in their post: "We had just wrapped Confessions of a Female Founder and packed up the mics — until a call came in that we couldn’t ignore.

"On the line was one of the most influential and inspiring matriarchs in culture today. Naturally, we hit record."

Meghan added in the promo: "Can you guess who it is? This one is so special ya'll".

Her phrase would be interpreted as a nod to Beyoncé's latest Cowboy Carter tour, which Meghan Markle and Prince Harry attended.

They were snapped being all loved up in the VIP lounge while enjoying the singer's concert in LA.
