Red Arrows flight route and times mapped for Bank Holiday weekend airshow

The Sidmouth Regatta and Airshow is back in full swing, with the Red Arrows set to dazzle spectators with another breathtaking performance. The event, running from Friday, August 22 to Sunday, August 24, promises a jam-packed schedule to keep families entertained throughout the weekend. The festivities kick off on Friday, August 22, with the 'Road Arrows' Bicycle Display team showcasing their skills at 3pm on the Esplanade, followed by the start of the Regatta Airshow at 4.30pm.

This year's spectacle will also feature a display by Sidmouth Lifeboat, the Wing Walkers duo, the Pitts Muscle Jet Plane, and a grand finale by the RAF Red Arrows.

Saturday's schedule includes sailing races from 10.30am, the 'Surf Life Saving' competition, a treasure hunt starting at 11am, Knowle Gardens Teddy Bears Picnic from 2pm, performances of 'The Sea Raiders' at 2pm and 4pm at the Ham, the return of the fancy dress Raft Race from 4pm and, at 9.15pm, the Grand Pyromusical Firework Display at Port Royal. Sunday continues with the Sidmouth Gig Regatta from 10am and Sailing Races from 10.30am.

With a packed weekend of events, Sidmouth Regatta 2025 is set to be the highlight of the year for both locals and tourists alike.

For 2025, organisers have also announced a new Airshow Grand Prize Draw, giving attendees the chance to win a three-hour 'Flight Simulator Experience' for three and VIP Tickets for two to the Jazz and Blues Festival 2026.

Additional prizes include tickets for two to the Ham Marquee for the Folk Festival 2026 and RAF and Red Arrows Merchandise.

Tickets will be available at the Sidmouth TIC, Ham Lane, from Monday, August 18 onwards, as well as on the Esplanade and at the Ham on Friday, August 22. The draw will take place at 7.30pm the same day.
