All the Details from Charli XCX’s Sicilian Second Wedding to George Daniel

On Sunday, Charli XCX and George Daniel celebrated their marriage with a second wedding in Sicily, almost two months after their first ceremony at Hackney Town Hall in London. This event was even bigger than their first, including Daniel’s bandmate Matty Healy. The 1975 frontman was accompanied by his mother, Denise Welch, and fiancée, Gabbriette Bechtel.

To the second wedding, Charli wore a sheer white wedding gown with spaghetti straps, a short V-neckline, and a floor-length skirt with a train. The translucent material showed off her matching white underwear and a white boned corset underneath. She paired the dress with white leather pumps. She had her hair down and bare, parted to the side, and wore diamond drop earrings, as well as a bracelet and a few rings. During the ceremony, Charli carried a bouquet of small white flowers. Daniel wore a tan suit over a cream button-down shirt open at the neck.

In photos shared by DeuxMoi from Backgrid, Daniel and Charli can be seen walking hand-in-hand, sharing their first kiss after the vows, then walking down the aisle as friends cheer, including Healy. They also poured sparkling pink wine into stacked rows of coup glasses. In one picture, Charli is wearing white wraparound sunglasses.

The Brat singer shared some pics on Friday of her time in Italy ahead of the big event, featuring photos of Bechtel, Daniel, and influencer Devon Lee Carlson. The bride had several fun party looks for the weekend. One dress featured a black bra bodice and red floral print skirt. In other pictures, she wore sunglasses with a chocolate brown backless minidress.

On Friday, other pictures of the couple shared by DeuxMoi showed Charli in a white lace minidress and black sunglasses, enjoying what looks like an Aperol Spritz with Daniel, who is dressed in all black.

In July, a source told People that the couple was planning their second wedding in Italy, saying that “the party’s just getting started.”

“They’ve always dreamed of a big party in Italy,” said the insider. “Somewhere beautiful and private, where all their friends can let loose. It will be star-studded. This was always the plan.”
