Inside Hailee Steinfeld and Josh Allen's Dream California Wedding

On Saturday, Hailee Steinfeld and Josh Allen were married in a gorgeous ceremony in California. Page Six posted a photo of them kissing at the altar just after being pronounced newlyweds. In the photo, the Sinners actress’s stunning strapless white gown is visible, which she wore with elbow-length opera gloves and a white veil pinned to her updo.

Earlier that date, gossip Instagram account Deux Moi shared pictures from their rehearsal, in which Steinfeld is wearing a white lace minidress with a white lace cover-up featuring long sleeves and a tie closure at the neckline. Allen wore a tan suit over an open white button-down shirt and is holding a white parasol to keep off the sun. For his wedding, he changed into a classic black tux and bowtie.

The couple announced their engagement in November, sharing pictures from the elaborate proposal set up. Allen arranged a flower archway by the ocean surrounded by candles.

Speaking with Who What Wear in a February, Steinfeld shared, “We were in Malibu, which is my happy place, and it was magical. That’s the word.”

The pair has been fairly private about their relationship, but once they were officially engaged, Steinfeld shared comments from Allen in her newsletter, Beau Society, where he shared, “It feels unbelievable to be engaged to someone who is so special and loving and caring and gorgeous and fun and happy. I can keep going if you want me to keep going.”

In that same newsletter, Steinfeld expressed her excitement over the upcoming wedding, but chose to keep details private.

“While I can’t wait to tell you more about the day and things we’re planning, I’m not ready quite yet, I have to hold this close for a little while longer,” she said. “All the happy tears have just barely dried. Whenever we tell the story, look back at photos, or even say ‘We’re engaged’ or ‘We’re getting married’ I start crying.”
