Chocolate lovers spot new £1.99 Milka biscuits on shelves of bargain supermarket

CHOCOLATE lovers have spotted new £1.99 Milka biscuits on the shelves of a bargain supermarket.
Farmfoods are stocking the Choco Wafer biscuits that fans say are "great with an evening tea".
One happy shopper shared the incredible find to Snack Reviews Facebook page, encouraging other users to grab the biscuits at a bargain from the bargain supermarket.
The user said: "These Milka Choco Wafer biscuits go great with an evening tea - from Farmfoods."
After spotting the post, chocolate lovers are now racing to their local Farmfoods to get their hands on the delicious sweet treat.
One shopper gushed: "Well these look good!"
A second echoed, tagging a friend: "We need to get a pack of these each."
A third chimed in: "They are great!"
Meanwhile, a fourth said: "Yum!"
From searching the biscuits online, it appears Continental Food Store is also stocking packets of the sweet treat for £2.19.
It comes as a bargain supermarket is selling beloved Aussie chocolate biscuits for £1.75.
Lidl is now selling Tim Tam Original and Tim Tam Caramel for just £1.75 each, the cheapest price around.
The biscuits are available as limited offer items in stores across the UK, while stocks last.
One excited fan posted on LinkedIn: “Well, well, well… Lidl UK has stocked up on Tim Tam’s AU.
"Since my last post singing the praises of the mighty Tim Tam in Tesco it looks like Lidl has decided to up the ante- and slash the price!
"Is it worth it for that smooth chocolatey crunch and the ultimate Tim Tam? I think so!”
And another major discounter was flogging "top tier" McVitie's chocolate biscuits for just 1p.
Online retailer Discount Dragon was selling Golden Caramel Digestives for the ridiculous price on its website.
However, shoppers were limited to two packs each while home delivery costs £4.99. This charge is waived if you spend £30 or more.
It comes after the Golden Caramel Digestives, based on the 80s Gold bar and classic digestives, first landed on shelves last July.
Aslı Özen Turhan, then chief marketing officer at pladis UK&I which owns McVitie's, said the biscuits were "one of our most eagerly awaited launches of the year".

We all love a bit of chocolate from now and then, but you don't have to break the bank buying your favourite bar.
Consumer reporter Sam Walker reveals how to cut costs...
Go own brand - if you're not too fussed about flavour and just want to supplant your chocolate cravings, you'll save by going for the supermarket's own brand bars.
Shop around - if you've spotted your favourite variety at the supermarket, make sure you check if it's cheaper elsewhere.
Websites like Trolley.co.uk let you compare prices on products across all the major chains to see if you're getting the best deal.
Look out for yellow stickers - supermarket staff put yellow, and sometimes orange and red, stickers on to products to show they've been reduced.
They usually do this if the product is coming to the end of its best-before date or the packaging is slightly damaged.
Buy bigger bars - most of the time, but not always, chocolate is cheaper per 100g the larger the bar.
So if you've got the appetite, and you were going to buy a hefty amount of chocolate anyway, you might as well go bigger.
