Primark shoppers rush for 'gorgeous' new workout sets that look designer

Whether you're a gym-goer, a pilates-lover or just someone who likes to wear athleisure around your home, you'll want to have a look at Primark's new-in sets. Available in a pretty pink or an on-trend chocolate brown, the top and trouser co-ords take inspiration from ballet and Pilates-style workout wear, and they're already flying off shop shelves.

With a wrap-look top that cinches you in just under the bust, a deep V-neckline and long sleeves, it's the perfect choice for pairing with the matching flare-bottom trousers. The trousers themselves also have a fold-down waistband – a detail usually associated with pricier buys.

At £14 for the trousers and £12 for the top, the whole set comes in at £26, which is very affordable if you compare it to some of its designer lookalikes. Take Sisterly Tribe's Wrap Top in a similar espresso colourway – that will set you back £88, while the matching leggings from the same brand also cost £88.

Primark's new athleisure collection has made its way to Facebook's 'Bargain Lovers' group, where hundreds of people are commenting on the affordable buys, as well as tagging in friends who "need" to go check out the items.

One group member pens: "These aren't see-through, they're like a gym material", while a second adds: "I'll take all of the colours!"

Others simply write that they've been desperately searching their local stores for the gymwear, but to no avail yet. Unfortunately, the buys haven't yet dropped on Primark's online website, so you'll need to keep your fingers crossed that your nearby store has them in stock for the moment!

TikToker Wendy, aka @itswendiesworld, explains in a video how Dior’s seasonal beauty gift sets come with a luxe pouch decked out in the brand’s CD initials, leading followers to quickly realise the real gem is the accessory, not just the beauty offerings inside.
