15 Best Luxury Sneakers for Men That Are Actually Worth the Money

Saint Laurent's sneakers are the epitome of luxury: sophisticated leather, and a simple, sleek, low-profile silhouette. The designs veer toward minimal—something we value in a pricey sneaker that needs to outlive the trend cycle. That means all the focus is on the very good leather and impeccable construction. Saint Laurent hits the nail on the head with this sneaker, designed to get better with age. Don't worry about wearing these ones too often; they'll look better if you do.
Maison Margiela's designer footwear legacy has remained relatively untouched. Its most prominent product is an upscale reinterpretation of a standard-issue German army trainer sneaker, done up in white leather with suede accents and a gum sole. Margiela doesn't make a ton of sneakers, and we appreciate that they go incredibly hard on making their most-loved sneaker as great as can be.

Lanvin makes a completely minimalist sneaker, and it does it well. The all-white, low-top sneaker is done up in an impeccably cool white tonal nappa calfskin with a subtle cap toe. They look almost like a high-end Keds, which I promise I mean as a compliment. They are low-key and easy to wear. They will last you for years—both because of their low-key style and high-quality construction.
With these high-top sneakers, Ann Demeulemeester has done what many brands try and fail to do: make a sneaker that is undoubtedly designer without doing too much. Rather than a logo or distracting pattern, Ann Demeulemeester opts for slightly distorted coloring on the calfskin suede upper—some smudging that makes the shoe look worn-in but not in a lame way. They're easily wearable and the kind of sneakers you have to know to know.

The Dries Van Noten's low sneaker (reminiscent of the very trend Puma Speedcats) are so under the radar, you have to have a luxury-minded sneaker eye to spot them. That is what makes them so great: they are both humble and excellent. Plus, they are an actually comfortable shoe that you don't need a special occasion to wear. A must for casual footwear enthusiasts and sneakerheads alike.
Moncler makes some crazy ass sneakers, and we love every single one of them. (Hell yes, including the Lite Runners that look like if a sneaker and tractor tire mated.) But this newly released low-top sneaker is bringing a sense of comfort to the boot-ish sneaker shape. They are, admittedly, less of a tractor tire, though they still have a crazy Vibram traction under foot. These are the shoes I'm trying to wear before and after skiing, preferably in the Swiss Alps, on my way back to the chalet I do not have.

Tom Ford crafts one of the most fun sneakers on the market, with its low-profile, super-slim, old-school runner shape. These kicks are inspired by soccer, but we won't tell anybody if you find a way to pair them with all of your fits, whether you're going to the office or to the field. The tread that extends up the heel is excellent for all of the soccer you won't be playing in them.
OK, technically these are just Adidas sneakers and probably not what literalists would call a Luxury Item, but I think these count so what the hell? Designer Willy Chavarria's take on the classic Adidas shape is a little grittier and more laidback than the standard. They're just good: low-slung but not unsubstantial, tastefully adorned, and easy to wear with anything.

In a word, yes. MM6 Maison Margiela (the sportier and also cheaper Margiela arm) teamed up with Salomon to design this runner that has a chunky midsole but a fitted upper and is perfectly futuristic and edgy. Thick, bold soles are the name of the game and the all-black sneaker is easy to wear. Highly recommend with your techy pants.
Another good luxury collab, and one you can actually do exercise in, if you so choose. On made a version of its classic Cloudtilt 2 sneaker with luxury brand Loewe. The result: a high-end sneaker with genuine foot support but way more style game. The Cloudtilt 2 is already one of our go-tos for walking a lot, and we'd venture to say this take is even better equipped.

Another great comfy choice for the semi-luxury: Autry's Reelwind. The fit is comfortable and great for wearing for long stretches of time, and they nail the right balance between cool and techy. We are partial to some Autrys with fun color choices, and these hits of bright blue on a neutral upper are an easy way to test it out.

With celebrities like Barry Keoghan in its circle, Axel Arigato has developed a cult-following of A-listers who love the brand's luxe take on streetwear. The Dice Lo style is a best-seller, with its pre-loved look, plush feel, and timeless style. We're wearing these all day every day—they are a great option for a fresh everyday sneaker.
Alohas does luxury quality, but with a price tag that doesn't make you say, "For sneakers?!!" The brand's suede-and-leather combo is endlessly chic, with contrast details that elegantly toe the line between timeless, everyday wear and trendy streetwear. Dress these shoes up, or dress 'em down—they're versatile like that.
