2025 SAG Awards - who is nominated and how to watch star-studded ceremony in the UK

Stars of film and TV are gearing up to walk the red carpet at the 2025 Screen Actors Guild Awards - or SAG Awards - tonight.

The 31st ceremony is being held at the Shrine Auditorium & Expo Hall in Los Angeles. The SAGs are usually seen as an indicator of who will win what at the upcoming Oscars, which takes place next week on Sunday, March 3. It will be hosted by Kristen Bell, who is also up for an award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series for Netflix series Nobody Wants This.

Big names tipped to hand out awards include Ariana Grande and her Wicked co-star Cynthia Erivo, Pamela Anderson, Colin Farrell and Timothée Chalamet, who are all nominated for awards themselves.

Leading the nominations in the film category is Wicked, which is up for five gongs, including British star Cynthia for Best Female Actor in a Leading Role. While Ariana Grande and Jonathan Bailey are nominated for supporting roles in the male and female categories. It's also up for best film and best action performance. Film legend Jane Fonda, 87, is set to receive a Lifetime Achievement Award.

You can watch the 2025 SAG Awards in the UK, but you'll have to stay up late if you want to watch it live. It will be screened on Netflix, with a pre-show hosted by Lilly Singh and Sasheer Zamata airing at midnight. The awards ceremony will start at 1am UK time, which is 8pm local time. Fans can also watch the SAG Awards on Netflix after it's aired.
