Blackpink Member Rose’s All-White VMAs Afterparty Look Demands a Double Take

Blackpink member Rose’s VMAs after-party look has recently turned heads. After winning the “Song of the Year” award, she attended an exclusive celebration at night at the Crane Club in New York City. The K-pop idol looked ethereal in a white dress as she walked towards the venue. For those unversed, she won her first VMA for the hit song, “APT,” which she collaborated with Bruno Mars.

Rose recently caught attention when she stepped out in New York City to attend a VMAs after-party. On September 7, the Blackpink member was spotted in a white fringe outfit at the Crane Club in Chelsea. Several photos of her look have made their way to the internet.

She looked gorgeous in the tank-top dress, which was adorned with safety pins all over the neckline and along the fringe design. The 28-year-old completed her look with silver-diamond accessories, white pencil heels, and a tiny black clutch. With minimal make-up, the popstar’s appearance definitely demanded a double-take.

Rose seemingly celebrated her win at the exclusive after-party. She won the Song of the Year title at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards for the “APT” track with Bruno Mars. The singer made history by becoming the first K-pop idol to receive the honor. The song, which was based on a Korean drinking game, was released last year and became a hit instantly.

While receiving the award, the soloist wore a strapless, butter-yellow sequin dress by Oscar de la Renta. The floor-length outfit’s fringe, touching the floor, added charm to her look.

Aside from Song of the Year, Rose’s “APT” bagged six more nominations, including Video of the Year, Best Pop Song, Best Direction, Best Collaboration, Best Art Direction, and Best Visual Effects. Furthermore, her solo hit, “Toxic Till the End,” was also up for nomination under the category of Best K-Pop Song.
