Boris Johnson 'runs away' from Piers Morgan interview five years after 'hiding in fridge'

Piers Morgan announced that he had reunited with Boris Johnson just over five years after the former prime minister had hidden in a fridge to avoid an interview with him.
On Monday, the Uncensored host confirmed the interview on X/Twitter and quipped that Mr Johnson, 60, ran away again.
The journalist, 59, wrote: "UPDATE: Five years after he ran into a fridge to avoid being interviewed by me, @BorisJohnson finally agreed to do one today.. and ended up running away again… drops on @PiersUncensored tonight."
In a teaser for the interview, Mr Johnson, who is currently in Ukraine, addressed the infamous fridge moment before abruptly ending the chat.
He said: "I'm now making amends by giving you the longest interview I've ever given you in a place that is substantially colder than the most domestic fridges. Anyway, take care..."
