Countryfile's Adam Henson flooded with support as he issues emotional farm announcement

Countryfile’s Adam Henson has been flooded with support as he has teased an exciting new addition coming to his Cotswold Farm. The presenter has been a regular face on our TV screens for more than 20 years thanks to his role on the BBC wildlife show.
The 59-year-old has also been sharing tips and animal insights from his Cotswold Farm Park located in the heart of Gloucestershire since 2001. In his latest update, Adam took to Instagram to announce that one of his donkey’s is heavily pregnant. In the video, he can be seen standing in his barn with his donkey Clover as he gave her a good nose scratch.
He began: “This is Clover, one of our Jenny donkeys. She’s a female and heavily pregnant. The gestational period for a donkey is 12 months, and you can see she’s got a great big tummy where that foal has been growing inside her.”
Pointing out the signs suggesting his furry friend is days away from labour, he went on: “And feeling her udder underneath where her milk comes, that’s now swollen and feeling quite tight.
“So I would say she’s giving birth any day now, and she’s in the comfort of the shed here so hopefully it’ll all go smoothly.” The presenter went on to return to Clover’s face as he gave her another nose scratch while gushing over the family-friendly farm animal.
Adam continued: “There's something very special about donkeys. They've been creatures of burden for people for thousands of years. It's always nice to have a little cuddle, especially if you’ve had a bad day at work. Just come and pet a donkey.”
He captioned the post: “Twelve months in the making – Clover is soon to be the proud mum of a lucky little foal [four leaf clover emoji].”
It didn’t take long before fans flooded to the comments to pass on their well wishes to the pregnant donkey and Adam’s family online.
One user penned: “Clover is gorgeous, please can you keep us posted when she has her baby [heart emoji].” Another gushed: “Aw Clover you are beautiful and looking forward to Adam keeping us posted about your baby [heart emoji].”
A third chimed in with: “Aww, love Clover – can't wait to meet her baby [heart emoji]” as a fourth echoed: “Beautiful can’t wait to meet her baby [three applause emojis, two heart-eyes emoji].”
