Elle & Dakota Fanning Twin on the October 2025 Cover of Vanity Fair

Change is rife over at Vanity Fair HQ, as the magazine undergoes a major shift. Back in April, Radhika Jones stepped down as editor-in-chief of the Condé Nast-owned title, following a 7-year tenure. In June, Mark Guiducci (formerly of Vogue) was appointed global editorial director in June. Last month, Jennifer Aniston made a glamorous return as cover star. Up next on the cover of Vanity Fair is Elle and Dakota Fanning, who cover the October 2025 edition of the magazine. The Dutch photographic duo Inez van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin profile the sisters for the occasion. The Fannings, wearing Brody bodysuits and jeans from Citizens of Humanity, pose against a grey studio backdrop in the cover shot (complete with styling from Dara).

“I LOVE IT!” immedaitely declared pradn upon seeing the cover.
