Fall Weather Calls for the Chicest Boots—These Are the Brands to Know
Whether you’ve been a fall-welcomer or fall-denier, cooler weather is almost upon us—and with that, it’s time to shop for the boots to get you through the season. Maybe you’re of an equestrian persuasion, or perhaps you prefer edgy moto boots. Or, suppose you only wear stiletto boots. On the other hand, you could need something more comfortable for everyday wear. You could also consider this: Maybe you’re all of the above.

The price range of $200 to $400 is ultra-accessible for what you’re getting, which is quality leather and solid construction. For those with a sleek, practical, no-muss, no-fuss style, Vagabond is absolutely for you.

Designed in Berlin and made in Italy, Aeyde is the brand for the chic, edgy girl. Just trendy enough, Aeyde’s styles range from $600 to $1,000 and combine classic minimalism with contemporary taste, from bold snake-embossed leather styles to simple black lace-up boots.

It’s almost impossible not to look sexy and elevated in a Paris Texas boot.

For high-end boots, look no further than Milan-based Gianvito Rossi, an editor favorite for pumps and sandals, and...any footwear, really. Priced from $1,500 to $3,300, Gianvito Rossi’s boots are a luxury choice. They’re simple and classic—from heeled tall boots, with stilettos or block heels, to flat après-ski styles, complete with shearling trim.

We know and love Los Angeles-based label Staud for its ultra-cute handbags and cheeky ready-to-wear styles, but the brand also makes some stellar boots. The Wally style is an absolute classic and comes as a flat, a kitten heel, or high-heeled—with short, tall, woven, snake-embossed, or suede shafts—and a rainbow of colorways. Boot prices range from $400 to $1,300 for exclusive styles. Generally, however, you’ll find styles in the $500 to $600 range. Classic and arguably minimal, these were meant to be worn.
